In the endeavour to coordinate the different digital initatives taken at the European level, several networks are being developed. The role of these is very important for streamlining activities and align the initiatives towards common goals. This workshop aims to go to the next level and connect two inter-related ecosystems: HPC and Edge computing.
ETP4HPC and Castiel have joined forces to explore what are the cross-cutting issues in their respective domains, starting from data protection and data preserving techniques, and then moving forward towards the federation of services and data sets.
